Blind-spot visualization tool

This tool will attempt to build a map of your visual field, highlighting your blind spot.

Instructions

The tool works best on a laptop or desktop computer, not on a mobile device. First, select a test size (number of points) below. This window will disappear and a "+" sign will show up in the middle of the screen.

Close one eye. Position your head so the open eye is centered in front of the "+" sign at distance approximately one display width. Make sure you are comfortable and can keep your head at this position without moving.

Looking directly at the "+" sign and keeping the other eye closed, press any key on your keyboard. A sequence of blinking dots will appear in your field of vision. When you see a the blinking dot, press any key. If you do not see the dot, do not press anything. Keep looking directly at the "+" sign at all times.

After the test is complete a map highlighting your blind spot will appear.
